Bolsover
Bolsover District Council have agreed to fund a CAB service in the district for the first time. A partnership deal between the Council, Citizens Advice and the PCT has enabled North East Derbyshire CAB to formally extend its service into Bolsover.
Details of how this service is to operate will be released shortly. Watch this space.
We will be looking to recruit volunteers to fill a range of roles, so if you are interested, let us know.

The Bureau has already secured funding for a number of projects, albeit on a short term basis at the moment:

An advice worker, working solely with older people and other hard-to-reach groups.

A family liaison worker working with (but independent of) Social Services. This service is dedicated to work with families with young children - funded by Derbyshire County Council

These services will be working closely with our debt worker already active in the area, funded by the Legal Services Commission.
