Macmillan Project
If you've been affected by cancer, your finances probably won't be your first thought. Yet many people find a cancer diagnosis can bring money worries, with costs they hadn't considered.
At North East Derbyshire CAB we lead on a project for Derbyshire providing benefits and money advice for cancer sufferers, their families and carers. Derbyshire CAB work together on this project. People should either contact their local CAB, telephone the helpline or email (see below) to access services. We provide the full range of welfare rights advice services, advice, information and support.

An initial assessment will be made by telephone, and if appropriate the case will be referred to the relevant caseworker at the CAB covering the area in Derbyshire where the claimant lives.
