In a survey, which attracted almost 1,000 responses from children, carried out by our Children & Family Service Project, the overwhelming topic they wished to see addressed was bullying.

IF YOU ARE BEING BULLIED - Don't bottle it up - tell someone, a family member, a carer, or a teacher. If you don't feel able to do that, call Childline on 0800 1111 or visit their website.
Childline 0800 1111 You can also obtain a copy of Childline's leaflet, "Childline can help you sort it out" from their website or from us by downloading it or using snail mail. The download of this leaflet is a PDF which means that you need Adobe Acrobat to read it. PDF documents are readable by the partially sighted using access technology with the help of 'Access Adobe'.
Another site of interest for children being bullied, parents or teachers concerned about the issue is www.bullyonline.org. This site deals with all forms of bullying - for bullying at school, click on school bully online.

Bolsover School offer a Bullying Helpline (01246 241111), this is available on Wednesday evenings between 4:30pm and 8:30pm for calls to help those facing problems with bullying.
